The Royal Guard is a loyal servant of the Empire, robed in red fabric and armed with a Force Pike, creating the intimidating silhouette of this iconic Star Wars figure.

The Royal Guard Premium Format™ Figure features a mixed media costume composed of a polystone body beneath the crimson fabric cloak, elegantly draped to create the plunging lines of the red uniform. Fast drei Monate nach dem allerersten Teaser zu einer brandneuen Sideshow Royal Guard Premium Format Figure im Maßstab 1/4, hat der amerikanische Hersteller in der vergangenen Nacht nun nahezu alle Bilder und Information zur Neuankündigung in einem Blogbeitrag veröffentlicht.

Dem Beitrag zufolge wird die neue Royal Guard-Statue samt Base fast 60 Zentimeter groß sein und wird, wie auf den Bildern bereits zu erkennen, aus verschiedenen Materialien wie Kunststein und Stoff gefertigt.

Das lässt sich der Hersteller aber auch was kosten. Wenn morgen die weltweite Vorbestellung im hauseigenen Webshop startet, wird der neue Royal Guard für schlappe 500 US-Dollar zu haben sein. Hierzulande kann man dann mit Preisen jenseits der 550 Euro rechnen.

Wann mit der Auslieferung gerechnet werden kann, wurde bisher noch nicht verraten. Man kann aber davon ausgehen, dass es nicht vor Mitte 2021 sein wird. Sobald es Updates dazu gibt, wird dieser Beitrag noch einmal kurz aktualisiert.“
