“Aren’t you a little short for a Stormtrooper?”

On a chance purchase of the two droids, C-3PO and R2-D2, Luke Skywalker has discovered a desperate message from Princess Leia’s call for help which has changed his life forever! After encountering Ben Kenobi, Han Solo and Chewbacca, they have set off on a journey to aboard the Death Star to rescue Princess Leia.

In one of the classic scenes in A New Hope, Luke Skywalker has disguised as a Stormtrooper to infiltrate the detention centre where the Princess is held captive. Today, Hot Toys is pleased to announce the 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise Version) Collectible Figure as one of the 2015 Toy Fair Exclusive items!

The movie-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker disguised as a Stormtrooper in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. It features a newly painted head sculpt, specially tailored Stormtrooper armor, an interchangeable Stormtrooper helmet with mechanically detailed interior, weapons and accessories, and a figure stand.

The 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise Version) Collectible Figure specially features:

„Hot Toys Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise

Nachdem gestern die ersten beeindruckenden Fotos der Hot Toys Booth auf der San Diego Comic Con 2015 im Netz landeten, waren alle Star Wars Sammler hellauf begeistert. Die Chinesen haben aber neben dem ca. 1,2 Meter großen detailgetreuen TIE Fighter und dem Millennium Falcon Cockpit im Maßstab 1:6 auch einige neue Figuren ausgestellt.

Ganz neu dabei waren ein Stormtrooper und Darth Vader im großen Maßstab 1:4 und Boba Fett, Prinzessin Leia und Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Rüstung im Maßstab 1:6. Zum Hot Toys Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise wurden dann vor wenigen Stunden die offiziellen Promobilder veröffentlicht. Bei der ca. 30 Zentimeter großen voll beweglichen Figur handelt es sich um ein sogenanntes „Toy Fair 2015 Exclusive“. Der Name lässt darauf schließen, dass diese Figur auch noch auf anderen großen Conventions in diesem Jahr erhältlich sein wird.

Die Figur wird voraussichtlich im September versandt und kostet 229,99 US-Dollar. Aufgrund des Exklusiv-Status bleibt abzuwarten, ob die Figur auch hierzulande regulär erhältlich sein wird.“
